That is so strange!! I confirm with what you find in that the page source is showing the correct img src link, but it strangely does not show!

I can definitely take a video – what would you like me to record?

    Hi,
Did you install WordPress downloaded from wordpress.org or from package in hosting.
Please contact hosting provider to delete and disable all cache for your site.
That’s seem similar this issue: https://stackoverflow.com/questions/20028324/html-i-upload-new-image-to-site-old-image-still-loads

    I figured it out (somehow)!!

I noticed in the source code when I inspected the logo directly that it was pulling the retina logo (I am using a MacBook Pro 15″ 2016, which has a Retina display), which I hadn’t replaced in the logo options. I added it, and voila it fixed itself!

It might be good to put in your documentation that if the logo doesn’t change it could be because one is viewing on a retina enabled device.

Thanks for your help! I wouldn’t have thought to inspect it without you. 🙂
