Blog posts keep changing to ascending date…

The blog post widget on my homepage https://www.aquavue.co/ keeps changing to ascending from descending dates. What am I doing wrong? Have tried deleting the element, re-adding it but still the next day it seems to go back to ascending, which is really annoying. What is the solution to this?

Please notice you have order option in widget settings:
https://prnt.sc/enUcwKbveFej
This option doesn’t work if you select post manually.
