How to Import Demo Manual WordPress theme

Hi all customer,

Before Import Demo data please check if your site’s images maybe missing when import.  You can follow this topic tutorial to fix it:

Please go to Plugins -> Installed Plugins and make sure WordPress Importer plugin is not installed or Deactivate.

The common question is Demo file location: You need to extract theme file. Example: pangja.zip. You will get pangja folder. In pangja/plugins/ you will see haru-pangja-core.zip. You need to extract this file to have folder haru-pangja-core. You will see demo files in: haru-pangja-core/includes/redux-extensions/extensions/wbc_importer/demo-data/.

In some case your server doesn’t have as our suggestion to Import Demo content automatic as this topic tutorial here:

So this topic will help you Import Demo Manual with our theme:

Before do these steps below you need to prepare:

• Install our theme and plugins as in document has written

After active our theme and installed required plugin you need to do these steps:

• Step 1: Extract package downloaded from ThemeForest you will have theme package like: haru-xxx.zip or xxx.zip (installable theme file – theme name)

+ Extract this file you will see in haru-xxx/plugins/haru-xxx-core.zip in folder has extracted (example haru-circle-core.zip)

+ Extract this haru-xxx-core.zip plugin

After extract plugin you can see folder structure like this:

Step 2: Install plugins for help Import Demo content

• WordPress Importer
• Widget Importer & Exporter

Step 3: Import WordPress Content

Navigate to Tools -> Import then select WordPress (click Run Importer)

Select XML file and import. Please notice on highlight to see where content.xml file located. Example here we import home 1

The path to XML file is: haru-xxx-core/includes/redux-extensions/extensions/wbc_importer/demo-data/home-1/

Select Import Attachment to use our demo images then click Submit and wait to demo content import to your site.

Step 4: Import Widget

Navigate to Tools -> Widget Importer & Exporter then choose widgets.txt to Import. Please note you can rename widgets.txt to widgets.wie to import if needed.

Step 5: Import Revolution Slider

Navigate to Slider Revolution then select Import Slider

Select slider you want to Import. Example here we use home 1

Step 6: Import Theme Options

Open file theme-options.json with Text Editor then copy all the content

Navigate to Theme Options -> Import / Export then select Import from File. Paste the content you have just copy to textarea then click Import

Step 7: Settings Homepage

Navigate to Settings -> Reading then set Front page displays as static page.

Step 8: Setting Menu

Navigate to Appearance -> Menus then set Location for Menu

Where is the demo content for “Circle”? The example you have above lists Milo theme demo xml content. Where is the content for Circle theme?

Hi,
When you download package from ThemeForest you can find it by:
– Extract haru-circle.zip (theme installable file)
– Open haru-cirlce/plugins folder then you will see Haru Circle Core plugin.
– Extract haru-circle-core.zip you can see demo data in: haru-circle-core/includes/redux-extensions/extensions/wbc_importer/demo-data

Maybe your site doesn’t have setting as our suggestion in document.
You can see PHP settings suggestion here:
http://document.harutheme.com/circle/
Can you please try it again. (Maybe you need restart server after change settings)

Please go to Admin dashboard -> Plugins Installed. If you see WordPress Importer plugin already activated. Please deactivate it and try again.

How long does it take to get here?

Sorry but does your server match this settings?

Max_execution_time: 180
Memory_limit: 128M
Post_max_size: 32M
Upload_max_filesize: 32M

If you server have these setting it take about 2-5 minutes depend on you server.
