Setting up home page

Hello,

I am trying to set up the homepage for the Film Festival portion of the Formota theme. I followed the demo install, but for some reason I can not set my logo on the page, even though I added it to the customize area. In addition, I can’t add videos to the slider at the top. I understand the WPBakery, but how are you pulling the videos. I see categories, but these are not my category posts. Where are you storing the videos?

1. After checking your site we see you are missing images when import demo data.

About Logo doesn’t change when you set it in Theme Options you can follow this:

Why Theme Options doesn’t apply changes?

In this case you need edit Homepage and go to Page Options at bottom of page.

3. The underline in menu item is for current menu item. If you add more menu item it will don’t show: https://prnt.sc/q0csg8

Hello,

The images should not have anything to do with the social icons not working or white space at the bottom of the page, so I am confused.

I’m getting frustrated because the social icons are not working. It has a YouTUbe button up on the left, but it stays there no matter what. Right now I have Facebook and Twitter selected but they are not showing. Thanks.

Sorry but you need read this topic:

Why Theme Options doesn’t apply changes?

In this case Page Options override Theme Options:

You should change all options in Page Options to default to make it don’t override Theme Options:

You need turn off Social in Element Right:

I was able to get those to work. But now I am having issues with the remade About Us pages. The Haru Team form on the WPBakery, does not show the new Actor and Director profiles that I create. When I delete the ones listed in the demo, they still show up. It’s as if the WPBakery is not connecting to the updated content. Do you know why this could be happening? Thanks for all of your assistance.

Also, I have attach a screen shot of what my Director page looks like. There is an error message.

Hi,
Please go to Appearance -> Menus and set menu for Location Popup Menu:

Please notice https://document.harutheme.com/formota/ section 4.2. Header Options to help you manage Header.
In our theme there is a notice that Page Options will override Theme Options. You can understand more about it follow this topic: https://harutheme.com/forums/topic/why-theme-options-doesnt-apply-changes/
That means you need to Edit Homepage (or page have header, footer, layout,.. different settings in Theme Options) then go to Page Options -> Header Elements (or Header Customize) at bottom of page to compare settings with Theme Options -> Header -> Header Elements.
