Unable to set background image for Mega menu

Hi
Thanks in advance!
I am unable to set background image for mega menu. When i click on the background image select button (Please refer this link) the page is refreshing. I am unable to set background image can you please help me?

Thanks for contacting us and choosing our product!
That’s seems this issue happen with latest version of WordPress.
In this case please go to wp-content/themes/clarivo/framework/core/megamenu/assets/js then open file megamenu-admin.js
Go to line 85 and 86 and remove this code:

event.stopPropagation();
event.preventDefault();

Maybe you need to clear cache to see changes.

Please note you can set background menu for menu item Level 0 (First Menu Level) to display as background of sub menu.

Thanks guys,

I can now able to upload the background image but, there is some issue when i add background image to the menu. Bg images is only applying if there is a child menu for that menu. I wish to add background image to each single menu item. like this

menu 1 not needed
menu 1.1 need bg image for this
menu 1.2 need bg image for this
menu 2 not needed
menu 2.1 need bg image for this
menu 2.2 need bg image for this

For more reference i will attach you a screenshot

Please let me know we can do this with settings in theme option or any other suitable way you can suggest

Sorry but we don’t have background for each menu item.
In your case use can use Mega Menu Columns.
Please follow section 5 to create mega menu columns:

You can use widget to display image with link to the category.
